A little about PRC...
Our journey began 40 years ago when a courageous group of Christian believers began praying for God to lead them to meet the needs of women, children, and families in Grand County. On August 20, 1982 we opened Grand County’s first and only Crisis Pregnancy Ministry. God has been faithful to sustain PRC throughout the years. In 2000, we became “The Pregnancy Resource Connection, Inc.” In May of 2018, PRC bought our own building with the help of our supporters!
The heartbeat of PRC is to show everyone who comes through our door, whether it is a woman, man, child, volunteer, or supporter, that they are loved without strings, that they have great worth, and they are not alone.
PRC believes every pregnant woman has the right to make a thoughtful, well-informed decision.
All of our services are provided free of charge and include pregnancy testing, STI testing, BrightCourse workshops, Ultrasound, Birthing Class, Breastfeeding Support, Financial Peace classes, adoption and parenting education, maternity clothes, baby clothes, and Reproductive Loss Support.
Most of all, we offer each mother caring, loving, non-judgmental, emotional support which we hope will sustain her through her pregnancy and beyond. It is her journey and our privilege to walk with her!
Our Mission
Pregnancy Resource Connection, Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization committed to supporting and educating all who are affected by an unexpected pregnancy and related concerns.
Our Goals
We want our clients to quickly feel that they are not alone in their journey and that we are here to help them work through the difficult decisions.
We strive to offer comprehensive and factual information that will empower our clients to make wise and thoughtful choices. We can talk to them about pregnancy symptoms, abortion, adoption, parenting, STIs, and sexual health.
In the case that they have experienced any of the above situations recently or even in the far past, we want to empower them to work through their feelings towards a sense of acceptance and forgiveness.
When clients come to our center, we want them to feel safe and assured that their visit is completely confidential. We will not share any personal information about the client or their visit with anyone outside of our organization without their permission. All staff and volunteers have agreed to nondisclosure.
